Welcome to my blog! Thank you so much for clicking onto this page and wanting to find out more about the person behind the Grain & Gains blog.

My name is Aishah. I am a qualified Junior Doctor and Personal Trainer. I started this blog in order to have a platform to help Muslim Women, like myself, develop a healthier lifestyle.  I cover topics including (but not limited to!) health, fitness, productivity, self development and occasionally lifestyle. When I can, I also like to create and share my recipes. I am really passionate about helping women become stronger within themselves, both physically and mentally – this has been the foundation for my blog.

You will find my posts are heavily influenced by the teachings of Islam, as this is the biggest factor of my life. This does not mean my posts are solely aimed at Muslims, as I hope anyone who comes across my blog can benefit. In my posts, I often quote Quranic verses and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
